Collector stories

Named sessions, named constraints, and what changed in someone’s shelf notes.

These stories come from readers who used a session and later described the work. They are not marketplace star widgets and not invented platform scores.

A reprint drop that looked like a first print

I arrived with a screenshot of a Marvel NFT comic that used the same cover as an earlier drop. The edition research briefing put the two edition sizes on one page. Once the reprint flag was written next to the later serial range, I stopped treating the second file as a substitute for the first. I still read both. I no longer mixed them in the same line of my notes.

Mapping a character run before a mart

I had digital issues for one character across three titles and a pile of paper floppies. Collection mapping split the lists. The digital map showed I already owned two reprint covers I kept buying because the thumbnail matched. I used the paper list at the next mart and left the digital duplicates alone.

Calendar notes for a night shift

Drop times landed in the middle of my shift. The walkthrough marked which windows were new stories and which were variant treatments I could skip. I still missed a spotlight. The notes meant I knew it was a cover treatment, not a missing chapter.

Serial talk without shop grading

I kept saying “mint” about files. Rarity literacy replaced that with edition size and serial placement. We also caught a listing image that hid the edition line. I did not send money through App Flow Hub; I just stopped trusting cropped thumbnails.

Ledger fields that stopped growing

My spreadsheet had seventeen columns including gem jokes. Ledger coaching cut it to title, edition, serial, reprint flag, and a comment. I keep a separate Binance-compatible CSV for tax notes I already maintained. The desk was clear that App Flow Hub does not read that file from any exchange.
