Field writing
A character run is a reading order, not a completionist badge. Decide whether you want every story appearance or every costume cover. Those are different hobbies that happen to share a face on the thumbnail.
Write the titles in publication order as the digital editions present them. Mark guest appearances that you will read later. Variant covers that do not change pages can live on a separate “art only” list if you enjoy them, or stay off the list if you do not.
Chasing every treatment usually starts after a group chat posts a collage. Collages are not maps. A map has sequence. If a drop adds a new chapter, it belongs on the run. If it adds a new outline colour, it belongs on the art list.
